Transition into primary care roles and grow your primary care skills
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Primary Care RN Certificate is online and self-paced, helping you continue to balance work, life, and your career.
The certificate is designed to prepare a Registered Nurse to work in a primary care or an ambulatory care setting. According to the Centers for Disease Control, “The National Illness Prevention Strategy is a plan that helps increase the number of Americans who are healthy at every stage of life.”
The Primary Care RN Certificate is offered by UNC-Chapel Hill’s nationally ranked School of Nursing and the North Carolina AHEC (Area Health Education Centers).
Program Requirements: For registered nurses who have passed the NCLEX exam and have been licensed in the United States.
